Homeowners Spruce Up This Holiday Season
New contest rewards $1,000 and free house cleaning service to assist in homeowners' holiday home improvement efforts.

San Diego, CA - November, 2006 - Now that fall is almost over, the majority of people are starting to prepare their home for the hustle and bustle of holiday visitors. According to a recent Pre-Holiday Home Improvement survey conducted by HomeRenovationExperts.com, 48 percent of more than 2,050 homeowners surveyed nationwide plan to conduct a home improvement project before the end of this year.

The contests' three runner-up contestants will receive free cleaning service.

According to the Pre-Holiday survey, the three most popular home improvement projects this season include bathroom remodeling, kitchen remodeling and floor coverings. Since contractors are bombarded with last minute holiday repairs and renovations, several homeowners are avoiding the holiday rush by tackling these popular home improvement projects months before the arrival of visitors.
