One of the most important elements in this home remodel was opening up the home and bringing in more light, which is why we choose a lighter color tone of Hardwood by Shaw Floors. Hardwood floors are timeless and add a touch of elegance to any home. Expressions Hardwood by Shaw Floors features white oak at its best, and it is part of their Gallery Collection of premium hardwood. The clean look and understated finishes let the beauty of the wood shine through.
We also incorporated Merit Kitchen Cabinets in a Tofino Slab Style with a Matte Paint Finish in color Old Stone. This style adds a modern touch to the traditional feel of this home and balances out the lighter color hues of the hardwood floors. It’s a perfect combination! This kitchen remodel included removing the walls and expanding the space, creating an open great room feel. This was done by installing custom cabinetry and an incredible waterfall countertop island, giving a more seamless look throughout the space. The cabinets are built to order and are fully customizable for any style and size! Plus, they feature a wealth of storage options to make your kitchen even more functional.
We then gutted the bathrooms to give them a complete makeover. We installed walk-in showers with tile shower walls by Emser in Cloe white 3×8. The shower floors were done with a 3″ black source hexagon tile, the combination of these two materials gives the bathroom a luxurious feel. The black and white tile pattern truly brings the modern design to life and adds contrast to the light colors found elsewhere in the home. The shower remodel is where this home’s transformation really shines. The space was completely updated with a mix of white and black tile pattern. The jet-black grout adds an unexpected pop along the walls, while the hexagon tile flooring keeps it classic and timeless. The bathrooms also feature a new vanity by fairmont designs and granite countertop, adding to the modern appeal of this home.
